CdTe -Cadmium Telluride

Cd-Te compound, Cadmium Telluride. Cd is very toxic, one article run across said something about the Cd-Te bond being strong and hence not as big a trouble as free Cadmium. In the 80's one of the few solar companies on stock markets, Canrom, made CdTe cells/panels and hence was subject to concern over this issue.
